In the life of an Arborist, carrying out tree removals is a common practice. Unlike tree felling in the forest, we tend to practice tree removals in densely populated areas. Removing large trees in small spaces requires technical knowledge of cutting, climbing and rigging techniques to keep the job as safe as possible. This skill, knowledge and professionalism is applied to any size tree removal too. Using the latest tree removal techniques also enables us to minimize the impact on the tree’s surroundings such as not making big ruts in a client’s lawn or damaging any understory shrubs/plants.
At Yarra Eco Pty Ltd we would be proud to say that we are tree removal specialists. We carry out many different types of tree removal in our service areas and probably the most common is gum tree removal. We can climb, cut and process a whole tree on your property, turning the branches into mulch and cutting up the logwood or tree trunk into firewood.
If you are looking for a professional, dynamic and friendly tree removal company then don’t hesitate to give us a call or drop us an email.
In an ideal world, we wouldn’t have to remove any trees in today’s current climate but sometimes we don’t have a choice. Removing trees can be a good practice, as long as there’s a plan to carry out replacement planting to offset the impact on the environment. Exotic trees often have a limited lifespan especially if they are planted in a poor location or if they have been pruned poorly in the past. Poor pruning can have detrimental effects on trees and can lead to them needing to be removed sooner than expected. At Yarra Eco Pty Ltd, we can help our clients to make educated decisions on whether a tree can be retained or needs to be removed. Our first point of call will be to try and retain the tree and then look at other options beyond that.
Most, if not all of the tree removals that we carry out are done so by one of our climbing arborist team. Climbing trees and dismantling them safely is a skill that takes many years of experience as well as formal training. Our climbers use the latest industry-standard climbing techniques to ascend into the tree’s canopy, position themselves for working and are highly skilled chainsaw operators too. Communication between our team is crucial to ensure tree removals go smooth and safely on our customer's properties.
If a tree that needs removing is in a tight spot or has obstacles underneath it, we will opt to use rigging techniques throughout the removal. We can safely rig and lower sections of the tree down to our team on the ground until the tree is completely removed. These rigging techniques require a high level of knowledge to ensure the weight and forces are accounted for when dismantling a tree. No matter how big or small the tree is, at Yarra Eco Pty Ltd we will carry out the works safely and professionally, leaving almost no trace in your garden.
If there’s enough space on your property and there is nothing to damage then we may decide to fell trees from the ground. This involves one of our highly experienced operators making accurate, directional felling cuts with a chainsaw and dropping a tree as one. This should only be carried out by a professional who is trained and experienced in felling trees, not just someone who can use a chainsaw. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail when using our equipment and skills to fell whole trees as well as our safety procedures.
It is important to note that it is common for us to use a combination of climbing, rigging and felling during the tree removal process. It can be a very interesting job to watch too if you are interested in knowing how Arborists work.
If a piece of land has been chosen for development, commonly developers will choose to clear some trees and retain some trees too. Depending on their planning permission or building consent they may have to remove trees on site but provide a plan to re-plant the lot once the building works are complete.
If you have a site clearance or trees that need removing for a new development, Yarra Eco are on hand to plan and carry out your site clearance needs. Depending on the access, we may choose to manually fell and process the trees or bring in some large equipment to make the job faster and easier.
As with any of the tree removal techniques mentioned above, we will process and remove all of the arisings from the tree being removed if required.
If you are looking for an expert tree removal company that takes great pride in everything that they do, then do not hesitate to send us an enquiry. Our team will be happy to answer any questions or queries that you may have, as well as provide quality advice surrounding your tree removal.
